I liked the friendliness of the staff and the overall cleanliness of the hotel. Also, the location is ideal being near the beach and all of the attractions which are part of coastal north county San Diego.

The coffee was great, the breakfast was pretty basic, just toast, cereals, some small danishes or micro muffins, jam, butter, milk , tea coffee and orange juice. As fruit there were only some sad tiny apples. The bed was comfy, the room was clean, very good water pressure, excellent Wi-Fi. 30 in fridge without freezer. Microwave and coffee machine. Great location few minutes walk to the steps that lead to the beach. They are steep! Few minutes from restaurants or Pannikin cafe.

This motel is in an excellent location. On the beach side of the pacific coast highway. We could easily walk to cafes, shops and the beaches. The staff were very friendly. A small breakfast was available each morning which was a bonus. It was also nice to have a room with a table and chairs to eat around. The swimming pool was a nice extra too. The kids enjoyed using it at the end of the day.

It was comfortable and a short walk to Stone Steps. Bed was very comfortable and a convenient table for writing & sketching.

Wonderful location, close to the beach, and within walking distance to cute shops. We loved hearing the train! The hotel has been totally remodeled and upgraded. They did a beautiful job. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was comfy and the room was tastefully decorated. Much, much more than we expected for the price!

Best staff ever! So helpful, flexible, considerate and devoted to giving the best service they can. The location was unmatched! Walking distance to all the best cafes, restaurants, shops and beaches. Good shower, comfy bed, good a/c (cools well and not noisy). Best value for money in the entire area.

It was nice and cozy and well maintained. I didn’t get to take a look at the pool since it was out of season but the lobby, hall, and room were all clean and comfortable. I accidentally left behind something in my room and didn’t realize until I had drove 500 miles away. They were very helpful when I reached out to get it back and am now getting it shipped to me within a few days

Great price for a simple, clean hotel in an excellent location. Walking distance to restaurants and the beach. Rooms are cute, comfortable and well-kept. Staff is friendly. Free parking
